What are steroids? a drug to gain extra energy or capacity to do something for example a race. An athlete uses steroids so that he/she can run faster in the race.
Who uses steroids? Athlets, highschool students and some amount of middle school students.
How are steroids used? by mouth that is pills or by injections.
What are it’s side-effects? long-term serious health problems and some side-effects are not noticible which takes place in one’s body.
Some more side-effects are:
heart disease, high blood pressure, bald, cancer, liver damage, sleep problems, vomiting, nausea, stroke, bloodclots and many more.
It also has emotional effects such as anxiety, mood swings, thoughts of suicide, angry, etc.
I think that the distribution of steroids should be very limited. Only existing and licence doctors can have it and they can prescibe it to some athletes with a very limited dosage.
